4 Low Competition AI Businesses to Start Today
Right now, people are making insane money with AI, while thousands of people doing the same will all be broke by the end of the year. Because the difference isn’t the tools, it’s how you use them. After doing over $250 million in my agency and watching this AI space very, very closely, here are four AI business opportunities that will actually last in 2026.

AI Ad Creative Agency
Right now, businesses are paying between $5,000 and $15,000 per month for a round of ad creatives.
The way that it typically works is you write a brief. You tell them a little bit about your business and your customer avatar. Then you get these creatives that will go away, and they will storyboard a bunch of ideas. They will run them, and then they will come back to you with those creatives.
The issue with this is that, first of all, you’re getting creative people to actually put together ad performance. Somebody who is creative doesn’t really understand direct response and performance. From the moment that you actually brief them, you actually get an ad creative that you can run from multiple rounds of feedback and giving notes on frame.io.
The entire thing is a nightmare. In addition to that, you need to hire the talent. You need to shoot the videos. You’ve got editors. You need a huge bloated team just to get into a place that you can actually pump out consistent and reliable creative.
Meanwhile, the earth is completely shifting because you can now use AI tools to create hundreds of ads in a couple of hours. That’s how far we’ve come.
But just to be clear, this isn’t creating an AI ad creative business. No, no, no. This is how you pay me, and in 48 hours, I will give you 25 to 30 ad variations that are already proven for you to run right now in your ad account.
How the AI Ad Creative Process Works
So, here’s exactly how it works. You get an avatar of the customer. You get their product. You get their basic offer.
In addition to that, you get a full export of the last 6 months of their Meta ad account. So, you can go in, and you can use AI to find out what the winning ads were.
Then, what we’re going to do is we’re going to use a tool called Higgsfield AI. No, your boy is not endorsed. I’m not getting any endorsement money from this. This is just a straight source.
The reason that I recommend these guys is basically for a tiny subscription. You get access to all the image models that are out there. You don’t need to be spending hundreds of dollars a month on basically being on all these different things.
So these guys have done a great job in consolidating all of it. So they even have ones where all you need to do is basically put in the URL for the product page or the website. It will literally scrape all of the ad copy, and then it will just produce your ads off the back of it. All of this by a simple click of a button.
Creating Realistic UGC with AI
In addition to this, what you can also do is if you want to get that pro source. You can use something like MidJourney. You can use a detailed prompt, which I’m going to give you in the description below, to create a very realistic UGC.
This creates an AI influencer that you are going to use for your business. Then what you do is you take that one still image. You upload it to Higsfield. You can literally create full-blown UGC ads of that person dynamically talking. You can use that model consistently across that client’s business.
What would typically take days of shooting and weeks of editing, you can literally produce in one prompt. You can do it in 5 minutes using AI.
To the untrained eye, when you use these things, everything just looks amazing. You’re like, “Oh my god, this is so incredible.” You kind of lose sight of what a good hook is and what a good ad is.
So you have someone who is the taste maker. They understand all the nuances of this. Then they’re simply just using the AI to replace all of that production bloat. They get you way more output for far fewer inputs. You’re in charge of the creativity and the strategy. It is in charge of the execution.
Economics and Client Strategy for AI Ad Creatives
Let me explain the plutocrat part of this AI announcement creative business.
You can charge a customer $2,000 to $3,000 every month. For that plutocrat, you give them 25 to 30 new announcement creatives each month.
Still, your real cost is only about $200 to $300, If you use a tool like Higgsfield AI. The profit is really huge.
But there’s one big problem with this idea. It only works if the customer keeps demanding further creatives all the time. Numerous businesses take the 25 or 30 advertisements and say, “ This is enough for numerous months. ” also they don’t pay you the following month because they don’t need anything new.
So the trick is this only works with guests who spend a lot on advertisements — like $20,000,$ 50,000, or indeed $100,000 every month. These people always need fresh creatives. They can now get enough.
The stylish thing about this offer is that it’s veritably clear. You don’t say, “ Pay me, and I’ll manage your advertisements. ” You simply tell them, ‘Pay this quantum, and I’ll shoot you 25 to 30 new advertisements in 48 hours. However, I’ll make further changes until you’re happy if you don’t like them. ”
This makes it a very strong offer. nothing can say no fluently. So this is my first business idea — an AI announcement creative agency.
Now let’s talk about the alternate idea.
Most people make AI business ideas too complicated. That’s why they never start. This alternate idea is simpler.
Take any normal, boring business — like a plumber, a dentist, or a cleaning service. These businesses have been making good profits numerous times, and they aren’t going anywhere.
Most of them still use spreadsheets, and everything is messy. Because of this mess, they lose guests every day.
What we will do is add AI to just one small part of their work. This will cut their costs a lot and make the work go much more quickly. Further guests will stay with them, and the business will make further profit.
The easiest problem we can fix is missed calls. Numerous of these businesses lose a lot of money because no one answers the phone — especially after office hours or when they’re busy.
So then that’s what we can do
We set up an AI that answers every call within the first two rings, indeed at night.
We also added a tool that keeps following up with every person who hasn’t bought yet. It’ll keep transferring dispatches until the person buys or says no.
To find these businesses, we can use a tool like Apollo. It collects their phone numbers and dispatch addresses from Google and other places.
also we shoot them a simple cold dispatch.
Yes, cold dispatch still works in 2026 if you do it the right way.
Don’t shoot the usual communication like “ Do you need help with Google advertisements? ” They’ve heard that too numerous times.
Rather, tell them something new and useful. We can stop them from losing track of missed calls with AI.
The dispatch can say a commodity like
“ Hi, I’m Emily from Inflate Home Services. How can I help you at the moment? ”
We can really personalize this service. We let them know, like, hey, I actually tried calling you last week, and no one got back to me. No one picked up my call.
We’re going to say to them, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Upwards of 40% of businesses actually don’t pick up the call. This happens when a prospect rings them to inquire about the very service that they’re advertising for.
You don’t need to be an incredible salesperson to try to convince them to buy. We’re going to basically book them for a demo. We’re just going to show them this. We’re going to customize it to their business.
Cost Savings and Real-World Power
Because with AI, you can do this in a matter of minutes. Then they can see exactly what that assistant would look like. They see how it will sound. It will do all the selling for you.
Let’s just say that a typical front of house is going to cost you anywhere between $50 to $70,000 per year. You can get that same service for $1,000 or $2,000 per month. That is literal money that goes straight to the bottom line.
But it’s not just a one-for-one transaction. You’re not saying, look, you’re spending 70 grand on an admin staff. I’m going to replace that person for 2 grand.
The way that we’re pitching it includes the upside of all the revenue that they’re actually missing. Even with that person, they don’t have someone who’s answering the calls after hours. They don’t always answer the call.
So, it’s an easy way to be able to justify the spend. We’re going to be like, you’re missing out on 40% of the revenue. This is because you don’t have somebody picking up the call after hours.
We’re seeing this blow up our clients’ businesses, specifically in dental. You have so many use cases. You have so much raw data on all these different patients with different treatments.
You can feed AI all of that context. It’s not just like a front-of-house lady who picks up the call. It knows all of this further information. It’s ridiculously powerful.
Opportunity Size and Implementation
The pros and cons of this model are that it’s such a specific application. There are people who are already going out there and selling this. However, the opportunity is so vast. Their demand is so much.
There could be tens of thousands of people out there selling this. You still wouldn’t be able to even scratch the surface of being able to actually fulfill the demand.
Think about how many small businesses there are. In Australia, there are 2 million small businesses. In America, there are 60 million. I’m going to say there are over 150 to 200 million small businesses.
In the English-speaking world, the pool of people who haven’t adopted AI is so enormous. This opportunity will be an incredible one for many, many years to come.
Well, so how do we actually do this? You want to use tools like Synth Flow and Bland AI. They will create a human-sounding receptionist. You feed with prompts and questions. You give all the context to it.
Then that will act as a virtual receptionist. These things qualify the leads. They handle objections. They go back and forth. They even link into booking software to physically book in the appointments.
The beauty of it is now that people can’t even tell the difference between a real person and these AI receptionists. Even when they can, they know that it’s AI. They don’t care. They’re still able to get all the information that they need in order to get to the outcome.
I was just staying at a hotel in LA. I called up like front of house or room service. I knew it was AI. But it was able to take my order. What do I care? It’s 11:00 p.m. at night and I can place my order.
The beauty of it is that the setup takes an afternoon to get up and running. Once it’s up and running, it never calls in sick. It doesn’t take public holidays off. It doesn’t go away on a holiday. This thing is just a workhorse. It just works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
And that is AI business number two. Bolt-on AI to an existing boring business.
AI Enhanced E-commerce Brand
So those first two AI business models are great for generating income and cash flow. But this next one is great for building an actual brand.
Which brings us to AI business idea number three. So all AI businesses have the same problem. You’re selling labor. However, what if you could use AI to create an actual physical product business?
Of course, you can’t use AI in terms of the actual tangible product that you hold in your hand. But what you can do is use AI with all the steps that are needed in order to actually create an e-commerce brand. It makes it 10 times quicker and 100 times cheaper.
Not only that, you can use it to actually predict the accuracy that you’re actually going to have a winning product to start with. What we’re going to do is use AI to literally scrape all of that data. This improves our win rate substantially.
The AI Launch Stack
So here’s the actual AI launch stack. We are going to use AI to go out there and literally crawl Tik Tok shop. We’re going to use cold data. We will use Amazon tools like Import Genie.
You can physically see how much product people are importing. So we don’t want to go out there and just guess that this might be a good industry. This could be a good category. Let me start an e-commerce business in this industry. No, no, no, no, no.
We are only going to enter into markets that are proven. We can literally clearly see exactly how much revenue they’re doing. We see how much their ad spend is scaling month after month.
So we know that we are entering into a market that has an insatiable demand for whatever it is that we’re going to be developing. Then we can find out the winning ad angles and what creatives. We can crawl and scrape all of that data. Then we use AI to basically use those same winning hooks. It gives us our own variation.
Now it’s time to actually set up your store. What used to take you literally days, if not weeks, to do things like writing the copy of your product description pages and getting a Shopify store all set up. You can now use AI to literally spin that up in a matter of minutes.
You start by taking your product. You create a very highfidelity photo realalistic of that product. It looks just like you’ve done a full-on product shoot. You’ve had it in all these different places.
We’re going to use AI to create the store design. Then we write all the product descriptions. There are tools that can do all of this for you, like Replo.
You can use a static image to actually create a video. You can then utilize it on your product pages. We can do it in literally one prompt in a matter of minutes.
If that wasn’t enough, you can actually use AI to dynamically create split tests. They run in the background. They show different product layouts, different descriptions, and different bullet points for each thing.
It will automatically run those changes. Then it applies them to your store. It actually does conversion rate optimization in real time. This squeezes out more profits from your business.
Pros and Long-Term Value of AI E-commerce
When it comes to the pros and cons of this model, there are really only pros. If you can find a validated product that is already selling and is doing well, you can recreate a store. You can have it up and running in an afternoon.
It doesn’t mean that all the AI e-commerce businesses that you start are going to work straight out of the gate. But it means the cost of testing those businesses is quicker and cheaper than it’s ever been before.
You might have to test three to five different e-commerce brands in order to find a winner. But then you found a winner. You can apply these AI workflows to make sure that it is the most profitable and lean e-commerce business that you could ever run.
This is something that you can actually sell and get multiples for. It’s the dream of what everybody wants. Run an e-commerce business. You don’t have a big, established team. You still print ridiculous profits.
A business that has a real brand and has multiple products within that brand. People are repeatedly ordering off that. These things usually sell at multiples of three to five times IBIDA.
There are going to be lots of people launching AI e-commerce brands. So what is the difference between the ones that are actually going to endure and the ones that are just going to flame out?
You still fundamentally need to have a really good product that is selling to a starving market. You do not want to be in the order business. You want to be in the reorder business.
AI hasn’t changed what people buy. But what it is doing is changing the speed at which you can develop the product to get it out into your customer’s hands. It also changes the overheads associated with running one of those kinds of businesses. This has made it a much more attractive business now.
And that is AI business number three. Launch an AI enhanced ecom brand.
AI TikTok Shop Affiliate
All righty. So, this last business idea has the lowest barrier to entry out of any of the other businesses on the list. You don’t need a store. You don’t need a product. You don’t even need to have money for ad dollars to actually get up and running.
All you need is AI and a TikTok account.
Which brings us to AI business idea number four. Tik Tok have an affiliate program. You can sign up, and you can promote other businesses’ products using the TikTok shop. You get a 30% commission.
The problem with this business model has been that you always needed to be the person who was producing the content. You had to be the one shooting the videos. Then you were always on the content hamster wheel.
However, that is no longer the case. Now you can use AI. You can actually create your own user-generated content that looks like a real person that’s not you. It’s faceless.
You can actually just create the prompts to get the scripts. Then have your AI influencer produce all of the content for you. You simply edit it up. You deploy it and collect your commission.
Selecting Proven Products
Let’s get into the actual tactical source of how to make this all happen. What you want to do is pick a product that is already proven. It is already selling on Tik Tok shop.
You can use a tool like data. It will actually show you all the different niches and all the verticals. Then it shows who the top sellers are within that product.
TikTok also have their creative studio. You can go and see what the best-performing creatives for certain products are.
We don’t want to just rush into something that we have an affinity for selling. We don’t want something that we think looks cool. We’re just going to remove our emotion. We will collect all the objective data on what are the products are actually moving the most units and making the most money.
The things that I would look for in a product are that it is a consumable product. Or it has a high repeat purchase order rate. I want to be going into a business where people are reordering it with great frequency.
So now we know exactly what it is that we’re going to be selling.
Finding and Modeling Proven Content
Let’s find the proven content in this niche organically. One of the best ways to do that is by using a Chrome extension called Sort. Then sort all of their videos via views and via engagement.
If we can find content that has already performed organically, it is proven. So when we go out there, and we use AI to create something similar, we know that it already has a very high likelihood that it’s going to bang.
So then what we do is get the transcript for it. We put that into a Google doc. Then we want to start writing our own scripts.
We want to model their hooks. We want to model what it is that they’re saying. It’s already proven to perform. We want to write a variation of those scripts. Maybe two to three of them.
Building Your AI Influencer
Now it’s time to develop a spokesperson who is going to read that script for us. You can use the prompt that I gave you before for MidJourney. It creates a hyper-realistic AI influencer.
You can use any of the tools that I’ve previously given to you. It takes a little bit of back and forth. But once you have it, you can re-re repeat that person. You use their exact look and styling for all of your content to come.
The production workflow is so quick, cheap, and easy. You are going to be posting three to six times per day. It is going to take us a lot of volume in order to find the winners.
But once you do, you can triple down on that. You can squeeze it for every last dollar that it’s worth.
Mastering Storytelling and Longevity
You might be thinking, “Hey, Sabri, this isn’t a new opportunity. I’ve seen this before. I’ve heard about it before.”
What you must think about is the number of people who are on social media. Think about how much time people are spending on it. There are way more people who are consuming it than there are amount of content that is actually on these platforms.
So, what you’ll find yourself is that you are going to be basically a master at storytelling. That is going to be the thing that separates your reels that do very, very well from the ones that don’t do well.
Most people put a minimum amount of effort into this thing. Then they expect a huge outcome. Where in life is that true? Where you can put in the least and get the most. It just doesn’t happen.
So instead, what you want to do is you want to be every single day, starting your day by looking at the proven content. Do not just look at it. Take the transcript and spin up your own versions. Also, think about what makes this good. Why is it retaining people’s attention to start with?
It might be that 80% of the stuff that you do is taking existing content and spinning it out. Then the other 10 to 20% is you using all the stuff that you’ve learned. You come up with your own unique ideas that could be banging.
All you need is one viral video. These things can pull in 10, 20, or even 50 million views. The amount of sales that you get off the back of this is sickening. If you want to learn about Claude ai read this article.
Pros, Cons, and Final Advice
Now, the pros and cons of this business idea are that while it has the lowest barrier to entry for you to get started, it’s also the most fragile. Just because you find a winner, it’s not going to be a winner forever.
You need to always be out there and be a student of markets. You see what the next product to pop off. Then you jump on it early.
In addition to that, you don’t own the audience. You don’t own the product. Even your pages on TikTok can be shut down at any time.
So you just need to go into that being fully aware. You need the wherewithal to be able to spin something up quickly when you do reach one of those roadblocks.
The longevity of this business model is definitely a cash play. However, the skills that you learn can be applied to a real business, like an AI-enhanced e-commerce business. You can blow it up further down the track. That would be the logical graduation from a TikTok shop.
Now, don’t just nod your head and say, “Wow, these are all great business ideas, sub one and start this week.” It’s not going to be perfect. The business that you start this week is very unlikely that’s going to be the business that you’re going to be running in 6 months.
However, it’s movement, not meditation. You will take these insights and the learnings that you get from that business. You use them to further blow up whatever business you end up running long term.
And that’s business idea number four, an AI TikTok shop.
