I Made 3 Digital Products with Claude in 18 Minutes
Every few days, Anthropic releases an update to Claude, which makes it seem like it’s going to change the world forever. But it really just makes creating and selling products online that much easier.
In this article, I wanted to share with you three digital products that you can make using Claude and Claude Design that you could create and start selling today that make more than an average 9-to-5.
I am going to show you the products. I will show you the proof for how much money they are making, and I am going to give you all of the prompts and the actual products themselves by the end of this article, so that you can decide if it is worth it for you.
The Power of Resume Templates on Etsy
This first product is the simplest and also the easiest one on the list, but take a look at this shop on Etsy that’s selling résumé templates.
People buy these templates for just a few dollars so that they can save all of their time from having to design and build it out for themselves. And this shop specifically is targeting a bunch of different niches. So they have clean minimalist styles, ATS-friendly, and they even have some profession-specific résumés.
They are making anywhere from a few hundred to over a thousand, and even a few thousand on some of these résumé templates each month. And the shop that’s selling these templates has around 19 of them posted for sale, but they are making around $7,000 per month in estimated revenue.
There are also individual résumé templates that are selling on Etsy, like this one. You can see that nine people have bought this specific template just in the last 24 hours. It is a super simple design, nothing too crazy, and it is making an estimated $2,700 per month just from the one listing.
Do not worry, I am going to show you products that make a lot more than $7,000 by the end of this article.
Why Resume Templates Are Profitable
Because this is a digital product, they are going to keep most of the revenue as profit. And making $84,000 per year is still more than a lot of 9-to-5s make. And it is definitely enough to change a lot of people’s lives, especially as an online sort of passive income.
The cool part is that we can use Claude to spin up a business that could help us make a bunch of these templates that we could post for sale in just a few minutes.
There are really three steps to doing this. First, we are going to pick a reference resume template, something like this, since we already know it is selling super well. And then second, we are going to use this reference product to create a prompt that we can use in Claude Design, which is the third step of actually creating the product.
Creating a Resume Generator with Claude
Since we know that this product specifically is selling super well, I am just going to grab a screenshot of the resume. And then I am going to take that over into Claude and just paste it in. We are going to do this in the default chat mode so that we can create a prompt to use in Claude Design. This is called reverse prompting, and it is how you turn a product into a prompt that you can use to create a similar product.
Then I can just come down into the chat box and say something like, “Using the reference template, create a prompt that I can use in Claude Design to create a résumé generating tool that gives me stylized and professional-looking résumé templates targeting different professions.”
The idea here is not just to create one resume. It is to create a tool that I can use to create lots of résumés and then post them for sale, having each one target a different profession.
When you target a specific interest, like this German résumé template, for example, you can see that they are able to make a lot more sales on it because it is so targeted. If someone is a nurse, for example, and they come looking for a résumé template, they are much more likely to buy one like this. And that is why it makes a lot more money.
Building the Resume Tool
It finished up, and you can see it created this artifact down here at the bottom that says résumé generator prompt. So, I am just going to click this. I am going to hit copy to copy the full prompt.
Then we are just going to open up a new chat and paste this in. It is going to start thinking, and it should build out the app for us that we can use right inside of Claude.
While this is generating, since it might take a few minutes, what you will notice is that on websites like Etsy, when people sell a product like a résumé template, you will notice that they put it on a mockup. It is really just the résumé-looking content uploaded to a paper mockup or some kind of image that brings it to life.
It makes it feel a little bit more real than just a digital download. And you can do this for yourself really easily.
Enhancing Product Listings with Mockups
If you come to Raw Pixel, for example, and you search for a paper mockup in this case, you will find a lot of these premium-looking mockups that can take a design and make it look a lot more realistic. This would make our resume look a lot better than just uploading a screenshot of it, for example.
Some of these are paid, some of them are free, but having a good product image will make or break your listing. Even though these are all digital downloads, all of these listings use really high-quality looking mock-ups, which is why they are able to sell so much over time.
Now we have this résumé generator. If I open this up, what you should see is that we have a full résumé generator tool.
Already, this looks pretty cool, but the functionality should be even cooler. So, it tells us that we can just drop in a resume, or we can try it with a sample. So, I am just going to hit try with a sample.
Features of the Generated Resume Tool
Here, we basically have a bunch of different fields that we could come through and edit. We could provide the name, the phone number, the location, basically all of the normal details that you would expect for identity, the summary, the experience, and the education.
We could add basically any type of field that you could possibly think of. And if we come down, what you will notice is that the résumés look absolutely insane. This is an extremely high-quality template, and I did not have to do anything except explain to Claude that this is what I wanted to make.
It did not just make one resume. It made an entire system that we can use to create a bunch of different templates.
We could create or offer multiple styles for sale. And then you will also notice that it provided us with a few different fields. So, we could target corporate, tech, creative, health and education, academic, and trades.
Selling Options for Resume Templates
With these templates, we can sell this in two ways. So, we could sell it as a generator. So, the customer could come in and type in their own information and then choose the style that they want to export and download it.
Or we can create templates for specific professions, filling out custom details with basically placeholder text, and then we can export these as Word documents or PDFs to actually sell in our listing.
You can see that we have the full resume formatted exactly how you would expect. I could come in and edit it if I needed to, but this is something that we could basically just take and publish for sale.
Just because you know how to use Claude to build out tools like this résumé builder, does not mean that the end customer does, too. And it also does not mean that they want to go through the hassle of setting all of this up. They are more than happy to spend a few dollars to buy a pre-made résumé template that looks great, and they just have to fill it out, and they are ready to go.
Finding Winning Digital Products
If you are curious about how I find these digital products and figure out exactly what to sell and what is going to make the most amount of money, here is how you do it in 10 seconds.
You come to this website called Listing View. It helps you search through over 130 million product listings that are selling online. And to find digital products, you open the filters, you click digital, it will refresh, and show you exclusively digital type listings.
You can sort through these and find the products that are making the absolute most amount of money. I like sorting them by revenue and switching it over into the grid view. And now you can see all of the digital download products on Etsy that are making the most revenue.
Next Product: Ultimate Budget Planner
That brings us to the next product on the list, which is an ultimate budget planner. Now, I have talked about similar types of products on my channel before, but this one specifically is four or five different budget trackers or financial tools all bundled into one.
This one specifically has sold over 46 times just in the last 24 hours. So, at $10.77 with 46 sales, that is a little over $490 just in the last day.
Listing View estimates that on average, this listing is going to make around $13,000 of revenue per month. But if they sold 46 every single day, they would make around $14,000 every month just from this one listing.
The shop that is selling this template sells a bunch of other financial planners, trackers, and templates. Basically, that is their niche. And the shop is bringing in an estimated $63,000 every month.
Building a Budget Tracker with Claude
There are a couple of different ways that we could go about building this product. But if we take a look at Etsy and we search for budget spreadsheets, you can see that the average listing on the entire page of search results is making around $1,000 per month.
In my opinion, the way to do it is to create a bunch of individual tools, like what this listing has done. And then once we have all of these individual tools built, we can go and combine them into one ultimate bundle and sell it for a little bit more.
I need to build out a syncing funds budget tracker that includes all the features that someone would be looking for if they were to buy this as a digital download. It should have a clean, modern aesthetic with Etsy-esque colors, a simple, friendly, easy-to-use UI, a clean interface, and super accurate math.
The Interactive Budget Tool
Now that it is built out, you will see just how powerful this actually is. So, created a bunch of different tabs. We are on the welcome tab right now. And you can basically see exactly how to use this tool. So we can set up our funds, log transactions, and watch the dashboard fill up.
Everything in here is real data that is trackable, so the customer could come in and edit and manage. And it has basically created a fully interactive tool that could provide a lot of value if someone is looking for this.
There are too many features in here to actually go into just in this one article. It is absolutely insane how detailed this app is. You can control things down to the currency and the emojis that are used.
It included an overview of what a syncing fund even is, how to stay consistent, and even ideas for how to use it.
Exporting and Selling the Budget Tool
The reason that we wanted to make this inside Claude Design is that if you come over to the share tab, we can either export this as an HTML file. That is what I will leave right below the article so you can test this out for yourself.
Or we could even send it to Canva. What this does is send that entire project file over to Canva to build out a Canva-hosted site.
It created this full Canva website that I can just publish to the internet. Absolutely insane that you can do all of this in less than 10 minutes.
We could download a product mockup and then edit it for free on a site like Photo P, where you just have to click in to edit the placeholder and take a screenshot of our app to use as the placeholder in the iPad. Bringing it to life like this would make the listing sell a lot better.
Third Product: Pattern Press T-Shirt Designs
This next product is especially interesting because it can be sold as a digital download, but also as a physical product.
This shop here on Etsy sells t-shirts and apparel design downloads. So they create simple designs like the ones that you see here, and people can download these to either print themselves or to use as designs, maybe that they sell in their own shop.
Although a lot of these designs admittedly look pretty complex, some of them are making a few hundred per month, and added up, since she has around 1,600 listings, she is making an estimated $27,000 per month from this shop.
Creating Pattern Press Designs
I am going to show you how we can use Claude to create this style of pattern-pressed text that you could use to sell either as a PNG download, exactly what this shop is doing, or sold as the final printed product that is printed and shipped directly to your customer.
You can build this using the exact same process, essentially as before. Grab a screenshot of a product or design that is selling well. We are going to bring it into a new Claude chat, paste it in, and tell it to give me a prompt that I can use in Claude design to create a pattern press design machine, where I give it a custom saying as the background text, provide some patterns to be displayed inside that text, so that I can create a lot of this style of design very quickly.
The Pattern Press Design Tool
Now we can take a look at our PatternPress design tool, and what it is built out here is honestly completely insane.
So you can see we could type out a phrase here. It says hello. We could change this to something like Alec. And we have got a few different options for the different styles that we are trying to create.
It has created a few different palettes. So, we can click through and just get some different styles depending on the specific type of design that we want to make. We can also click the shuffle patterns button. And you can see we just keep getting different designs every time I click it.
We can also select individual characters and choose a specific design out of our design palette here for that specific character.
Scaling Design Production
It created different aspect ratios for us, different color palettes. It is honestly just crazy because building something like this out or designing it by hand, it could take hours or days to come up with designs like this.

A couple of days ago, I built out this tool, which is a similar idea for a pattern press generator, except this one allows you to make them in bulk. So you can provide a list of slogans. Then we can select the pattern that we want pressed into all of the text.
This is definitely something that we could use to print on a t-shirt. We could sell this as a PNG download on its own or in a pack similar to what the shops we saw were already doing.
Physical and Digital Opportunities
You can repurpose these because not only are people selling text designs just like these with patterns pressed through and making thousands of dollars per month from these digital downloads, but you can also just take the artwork. You can come over to a platform like Printify and select the actual t-shirt that you want to sell, and you can upload your designs directly onto the product that you want to sell, and you can publish products like these for sale on websites like Etsy and TikTok shop, where you can make organic sales over time just by making and creating a lot of product listings just like this.
If you are resourceful about how you actually use these tools and if you are consistent with it over time, and you actually follow through and take consistent action, building an online income that makes you more than a 9-to-5 is absolutely achievable.
